Quartzite is a very hard non metamorphic rock. It is a natural stone that occurs when sandstone is exposed to heat and high pressure. Quartzite usually have a glossy/creamy look but in some cases it can be in different colors such as yellow, green, blue and orange. Quartzite is one of the most durable and popular countertop materials.

How to Maintain/Clean a Natural Stone:

Do’s:

Use Clorox wipes to clean the surface and then use a paper towel to wipe the excess cleaning liquid.
Use baking soda and water to clean the surface for any oil/greasy mess.
Wipe out any spills on the countertops within a reasonable amount of time.

Dont’s:

Do not let citric acid, coffee, tea, alcohol, or wine sit on the countertop overnight.
